Thoughts Over Coffee

by robinz

I ‘ve been sitting drinking my coffee this morning and mulling over a book I’m reading called “Half the Sky“.   This book is about the brutality directed towards women around the world and the deeply troubled lives of young girls sold into sex trafficking.  Horrific.   The book reminds me how lucky we are to live in this country even with all of it’s perceived imperfections.  Even though the recession of late has taken it’s toll on all of us.  Even though we may have a significant other still out of work.   The truth is, job or not, savings in tact or not,  we  are all rich, very rich ~

10 Reasons Why You Are Rich Beyond Measure

1.  You have access to clean water.

2.  You have a roof over your head.

3.  Dinner is served at your house every night.

4.  Access to the internet is a reality.

5.  The right to vote is yours.

6.  You can follow any religion you choose.

7.  Freedom of Speech is real for you.

8.  Slavery is outlawed in your country.

9.  Exercise is as easy as walking or wheeling yourself around the block.

10. You can fall in love and marry whomever you choose.

Yes, you are truly rich beyond measure.  If any of the above are not true for you please feel free to contact me, I would be happy to help.  Contact me robin@wakeupmomma.com

Robin,

In your last post you recommended we “watch for magic everywhere”. Your list of why we’re rich came at just the right time for me — exactly what I needed to hear, and absolutely pure magic!

Thank you!
