The research suggests that it takes 21 days to adopt a new habit. Let’s say you bite your finger nails and one of your resolutions was to stop, well, you have plenty of time to put hot sauce under your nails whatever the prevailing wisdom is to stop biting your finger nails before the end of 2011.
Maybe you can kill two birds with one stone and replace your bad habit with a new activity you vowed you would learn how to do this year…say knitting, or photography, tennis or learning Chinese. Whatever it is for you, do it….you have plenty of time.
So what will it be? Are you going to have the same list of resolutions and goals as you begin 2012? Or are you going to meet your dreams and plans head on and blaze a trail? It’s up to you and there is plenty of time. Wake up Momma! This is your life!
